Garda Lake (Valpolicella Region)

Aaah, what a beauty this lake is! Magnificent views and peaceful quietness greet you

upon arrival in this green lush area. There is something so stunning about this area, it makes

it hard to put into words. The lake itself is huge and such a treat for the eye. I’m sure you’ll

fall in love with this area during your Vespa tour.  Also, Valpolicella and Verona are likely to

steal your heart. Valpolicella is a viticultural zone, famous for its wine on the eastern side

of the lake. It is just as high ranked as the Chianti region regarding the Italian

Denominazione di Origine Controllata (DOC) wine production.

Verona is the city of love, of Romeo and Juliet. But there is so much more to this city than

just the tale of the two lovers. For example, Verona has so many Roman architectural remains

and is therefore one of the most important cities in the North for that. The amphitheater or Arena di Verona is the third largest remaining Roman amphitheater in Italy which is today used for opera. If you have the time, try to go and see a play or opera during your holiday!

Our trips from 'San Pietro in Cariano' take you to the north and south of Lake Garda and through the Valpolicella region and the city of Verona. These will certainly make you dream about delicious Italian wines and history. Also, Venice is just a short distance from this region and can be added to your trip.
